Color Combination Tips for your Facade

Polylite Industrial Corporation

While on the road, the striking color red of a Mcdonald’s chain evokes the feeling of appetite and hunger; the reason why you would probably see yourself settling into the drive-thru next. This shows the important role of colors to your market. It can enhance and evoke certain emotions so the consumers will be interested in your business. If you put little thought on how your facade will look, you will lose potential customers in return. However, having an attractive facade is only a little part of the package. Other properties like durability, convenience, and value for money still matter in the long run. ACP is a great material that has versatile and durable properties that makes it stand out for a long time. It has weather-resistant properties, so you can use ACP as exterior cladding for every season. Most importantly, there is a wide selection of acp colored panels to achieve an eye-catching design. When exploring possible color combinations, remember the following tips:

Choose the color of the facade based on the function of the building. Extravagant and glittery colors with striking combinations won’t probably be a good look for a hospital or a government office. On the other hand, gold colors would look great if your business is centered on entertainment and the likes. Businesses often take the color of their brand as the main colour of the facade. They would then base the supplementary color of the building based on what they wanted to show.

In this application, postal blue was paired with red to stand out on drivers and passersby even from a distance. Postal blue was used as the main color of the building and was complemented by red.

Choose supplementary colors that would complement the overall look. Colors of the same range provide a clean and harmonious look while dark colors over the main color would create a striking design that would make your facade stand out.

A gas station used a combination of red and black to show a dynamic and contrasting design, without looking too stimulating. It shows a good color combination and makes it easier for drivers to notice the place.

Consider the scope of the project and where your business will be located. If one color is used for the entire facade, it could look flashy and intimidating, especially if the application is very large. Next, think of the location of your building. Is the place adjacent to yours colored black and blue? You would probably want to stir away from these colors because they would look identical and customers won’t be able to identify yours. If your place is directly affected by sunlight, the colorful facade may fade so you need a material that is weather-resistant.

The facade above used the colors orange and black. This is located along commercial buildings so the wise use of contrasting colors makes it noticeable. The placement of orange ACPs in the facade was organized to create a pleasing accent.

Aluminum composite panel (ACP) is a good choice for building facades and you should consider it too. Here’s why.  Facades help build the character of a business or a brand.  If the exterior looks old and uninviting, there is little desire for people to look inside. ACP perfectly combines quality performance and style.  You would be surprised to know that ACP is a common material used for all kinds of building structures (schools, hospitals, casinos, lifestyle centers, etc). The next time you decide on a material, buy aluminum composite panels and read this article to guide you into choosing the right color for your next project.
